At the 2008 EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh, WI during the week of July 28, Piper Aircraft announced the expansion of their PiperJet Dealer network to include KCAC. During the same press conference, the PiperJet made its first flight at the Company’s headquarters in Vero Beach, FL.  This long anticipated flight and the dealer network expansion was one of the highlights of the week-long show for KCAC.

The PiperJet is a luxury aircraft in the Very Light Jet (VLJ) category. It is one of the larger VLJ’s capable of a 1,300 nautical mile range.The PiperJet will feature the latest in integrated glass avionics, a luxurious interior and advanced manufacturing techniques pioneered by Piper.

Kansas City Aviation Center will be exhibiting at the 2008 KC Aviation Expo.  This event is being held Saturday, August 23^rd and Sunday, August 24^th from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the downtown Kansas City Airport / Wheeler Airport.  KCAC will have the Piper Meridian and the Diamond DA40 on display and the Flight Academy will also be on hand to answer any questions you might have about obtaining various licenses, training seminars that they offer, etc.More...
