REGION SALES BEGIN IMMEDIATELY

Kansas City Aviation Center (KCAC) announces that it has been chosen by Diamond Aircraft Industries Inc. as a Diamond Regional Distribution Center (DRDC) for a key portion of the U.S. Midwest.
KCAC is based at the Johnson County Airport (OJC) in the Kansas City metropolitan area, and recently opened a second major Part 145 repair and sales facility in St. Louis, Missouri at the Spirit of St. Louis Airport (SUS). “We are very excited about this appointment by Diamond because we are able to represent the most exciting, complete lineup of aircraft to our customer base,” stated Angelo Fiataruolo, General Manager of KCAC. “Diamond Aircraft has the reputation as one of the best in the business, from its composite frame to its fuel efficiency and handling, and has the best safety record in the industry,” stated Fiataruolo. The Diamond Aircraft line runs from the lightweight two-seat single engine DA20 to the new five-seat single-engine D-Jet.
“At Diamond Aircraft, we demand excellence – in our aircraft, in our people, and in our associations. KCAC embodies these same ideals which made them the perfect match for Diamond. They have a stellar reputation for the same level of excellence as Diamond, which was a key aspect of Diamond’s decision,” said Heike Larson, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Diamond Aircraft.
Diamond Aircraft Industries Inc. is dedicated to supplying the General Aviation market with the ultimate flying machines - safe, economical, inspiring aircraft. From facilities in London, Ontario, Canada and Wiener Neustadt, Austria, Diamond produces single and twin-engine propeller aircraft and a single-engine jet aircraft. Diamond builds the safest, most efficient General Aviation aircraft flying today. By merging the best of leading edge technology with proven composite airframe materials and build techniques, Diamond is committed to providing pilots with exceptional aviation experiences.
In addition to representing the Diamond line, KCAC is thrilled to have the opportunity to represent the newest aircraft that Diamond is manufacturing, the D-Jet which is a member of the Very Light Jet (VLJ) family. The D-Jet has been designed to be flown by a pilot/owner, and will offer safety, comfort, and efficiency, while remaining economical. It can reach speeds up to 315 knots and can travel distance over 1300 nautical miles. The glass instrument panel is a Garmin G1000 which is fast becoming the standard in avionics. The cabin offers detailing that can only be found on luxury cars including leather, ergonomic seating and sophisticated styling. The D-Jet offers extensive baggage space with an internal pressurized compartment with additional baggage areas in the forward and aft unpressurized compartments. The D-Jet has been well received by both the business and pleasure flying community, with pre-delivery orders reaching record numbers.
